Jacquel’s experience in the hospitality industry spans over 25 years. She has worked for Tourism Action Plan / The Jamaica Tourist Board in Jamaica and worked her way up in the hotel industry in the USA from a Front Desk Agent to a Director of Sales & Marketing. She has worked for major brands such as Hilton, Starwood and Wyndham and in markets such as New Jersey, New York and Atlanta.
Hospitality has always been in Jacquel’s blood. She was born in rural Jamaica and after graduating from Westwood High School, she was awarded a full academic C.A.S.S scholarship to the University of Maine in Orono ME. She studied Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management and graduated with High Distinction and the Presidential Pin Award. Receiving this opportunity changed the course of her life.
Jacquel founded Global Hospitality in order to have more flexibility to manage her growing non-profit The Jamaica Project USA. Her vision is to build a company with integrity that focuses on revenue maximization and sales, leadership and customer service training solutions.
The Jamaica Project USA is on a mission to transform rural communities and schools by providing resources and educational sponsorships to various schools, necessities to community residents and completing improvement projects. She brings this
giving back culture to GHES, investing in the next generation of hospitality leaders by working with hospitality students to share knowledge, experience and facilitate increased contact with seasoned hospitality leaders for future opportunities.
Jacquel is also on the Advisory Board for the Atlanta based non-profit Caring For Others, the second largest disaster relief organization in Georgia. CFO is on a mission to eradicate poverty worldwide and distributes vital resources to disaster relief areas in the USA and impoverished countries all over the world.
